Questions related to Harrison Bergeron

Life in Vietnam would be perfect if everyone were totally equal. Do you agree or disagree? Explain your answer in complete sentences.
Vietnam wouldn't be perfect if everyone was equal because then when every is equal which means they have the same level of knowledge, same health condition, same wealthiness,... When they have everything the same, no one will improve because people can not see the strong sides of the society. If everyone was to be equal, then why not make robots?

IF I am designing a society in which everyone is equal. What are the laws?
- No secrets can be kept
- Currency is not available, everything is provided by the government EQUALLY
-Treat everyone the same way, or else you will have the same punishment as the person you harm
- Everyone will have a single uniform (fashion style would be change every month)
What would you do to help people who were less capable mentally, physically, or socially to “catch up”?
- Each person learn a new things each day from another group of people who is more capable, this cycle wouldn't stop because everyone has things that they don't know yet

What problems can you foresee that might come in a society with laws that force “equality for all”? How would you handle those problems?
- Some people might want to have more so they get greedy and form a resistance. Some people might protest against the law by thinking of new ideas and they would want to overthrow the government. If this happen, then the government should try to negotiate with the citizens, if they still don't agree, use force!

Do you believe that total equality is possible, or would human nature make sure that some people would eventually dominate others?
-Equality might be possible if everyone has the responsibility to obey the rule. If they don't follow the rules, the government might need to be cautious for protest and resistance.

In what situations have you felt similarly to any of the characters? What persons, places, or ideas from your own experience came to mind while you were reading this story? Try to list as least two examples.
-Hazel has a short memory-span, like some fish. I also sometimes forget things when I think too much, but of course, it doesn't take long for me to remember it.
-When Harrison burst into the TV station and said that he is the Emperor, I remembered of the people in movies, where they hack into computers with their face saying warnings or something like that.
