ADVERTISING QUESTIONS
Advertisement show the viewers the good side that the product brings and the people will be distracted from the bad side and look only at the good side. They also have celebrities that advertise for them for the celebrities fans to follow. They can also use attractive models to advertise.
Do you think citizens are sufficiently informed about the sustainability of our consumption habits? If not, how can we become more informed about sustainability issues?
I don't think the people are aware of the sustainability problem, what they could do is to think more about the bad side of the product and think about whether they need it or not.
Do you think these advertising techniques influence what you and your friends purchase?
We are in the same age range and if the advertisement is for a specific age range then we are affected. My purchase and my friends' purchase might not be that different because we may like the same celebrity that is in the advertisement.

-ride carefully and avoid accidents. Accidents -> broken car, broken bone -> CO2 to make new car, CO2 to provide needs for patient
Energy source:
-use energy sources like solar, hydro, and wind energy and less fossil fuels
Recycle:

MIGRATION STORY
Hello, my name is David, I was living in Ha Noi,
I had to leave all my friends behind because this relocating wasn’t affordable for them. I had to leave all my possessions, and I even had to leave my pet dog, Buck. All my parents said was our shelter don’t allow dogs. I missed my piano lessons and my piano had probably been broken or stolen. Even though I didn’t like this new place very much, but it provided moresecurity than the cities. I stayed in my refugee until the disasters were completely over. The people here had similar ethnicity so I found it easy to interact with them. The best thing was that I left all my homework and my miserable grades at home.

A Message From Mother Nature?
The main point of this article is that scientists prefer calling the Earth changing climate change instead of the term global warming because it's not just the Earth getting warmer.

I have never experience weather, even though I seen rain storms in Saigon a lot, and I experienced 10 inch flooding.

Perception is how you see something in your point of view.
What is your “perception” of global climate change?
My perception is that we cannot redo what we have done, but we can fix our mistakes by slowing the process of destroying our home down.

History of M&M Island
2020 was the year that it all began, radiation from factories were thrown out the sea and it created a sea monster called Ery that liked to eat M&M and it also made pieces of M&M came alive. 2025, the M&M pieces started to scatter all around the island, they settle down into lands that they discovered. This movement was the first improvement of the M&M Island history. In 2089, when all the lands were discovered, the government of the M&M Island separated the island into four territories. Five years later, this island was divided into four countries: Blue, Red, Yellow, and Brown. These names were based on the color of the mountains that they made in that same year. They also made a chocolate river to eat and drink.
In 2107, these four countries fell into a crisis; they used almost all the resources that they made. The government of each country wanted to take resources from other countries. One year later, the war began; Blue made its first move and relocated their capital city to a new location near the 43 degrees longitude and 45 degrees latitude. Blue attacked Brown. When the war was occurring, many citizens of each country mostly Blue, moved into places like the mountains, the villages, even some migrated to another country just to find shelter to hide from the war.
Blue was struggling because the Ey monster ate 25 percent of their territory. Very few villagers survived and moved away from the coastal regions. One year after the big lost of land caused by Ery, Red decided to cooperate with other countries and took over Blue. Blue territory fell after two years of fighting back.
The other three countries decided to split Blue so that they can have an equal amount of land. They decided to eat their ancestor’s diet again; which was sugar from sugar canes. There were still many Blue survivors that were fighting against the other three countries for their land and their honor because they were the first M&Ms to walk on the M&M Island.
